Family Law
The decisions you make here will ripple for years. We help you make them clearly.
Family law touches the things that matter most — your children, your home, your future. We approach every matter the way we'd want one handled for our own: thoroughly, candidly, and with the long view in mind. Where we can resolve things outside of court, we do. When we can't, we're prepared.

The right plan, made now, is the kindest thing you can leave behind.
Estate planning is less about death than it is about love — for the people who'll be sitting at your kitchen table after you're gone. We build plans that fit your family, your assets, and your wishes — and we update them as life changes. For families already in probate, we'll walk you through it.

The boring paperwork that quietly keeps your business running — done right, the first time.
Most small business legal work isn't glamorous, but skipping it has a way of becoming very expensive, very fast. We help local owners form their entities, draft the contracts that protect them, and untangle the situations that come up when partners disagree, vendors stop paying, or it's time to sell. Plain-English advice, flat fees where we can.

Litigation & Disputes
When the conversation breaks down, we're the people you want at the table — and in the courtroom.
Not every dispute ends in court, and we work hard to keep yours from getting there if a better path exists. But when litigation is the right call — or the only one left — we prepare every case as if it's going to trial. That preparation, more than anything, is what gets favorable settlements when settlement is possible, and good outcomes when it isn't.

Personal Injury
The insurance company had someone working your file within a day of the accident. You should have someone too.
When someone else's carelessness puts you in a doctor's office, the practical problem arrives long before the legal one — bills, forms, an adjuster who wants a recorded statement, and a first offer that arrives before anyone knows how the injury is going to heal. We take that over. Injury matters are handled on a contingency fee, which means our fee comes out of the recovery and there is no fee if there is no recovery.
What we help with
- 01Motor vehicle collisionsCars, trucks, motorcycles, cyclists and pedestrians
- 02Falls and unsafe propertyIncluding Massachusetts snow and ice
- 03Dog bitesThe owner is responsible without proof of carelessness
- 04Wrongful deathBrought through the estate, which this office can open
Probate
Someone has died, and the court has handed the family a list of obligations.
Being named personal representative is a job, and it arrives in the worst month of someone’s life. We take the filings and the deadlines — the petition, the notices, the creditor period, the inventory, the account — so the family can attend to the rest of it. Where the estate includes a house, the probate and the closing happen in the same office, which is where estate sales most often stall when they are split between two firms.
What we help with
- 01Informal probateThe ordinary path, no hearing
- 02Formal probateWhere a judge has to decide
- 03Voluntary administrationSmall estates, personal property only
- 04Personal representative dutiesInventory, notices, accounting

- 07Late filingsWhere more than three years have passed
Elder Law
The hardest conversations, made simple, and planned early enough to matter.
When a parent starts needing more care, families face a run of decisions that are expensive, emotional, and often made under time pressure. Elder law is the practice of answering those questions, ideally years before the crisis, and when necessary in the middle of it.
